I have a quesiton,

Is there anything at Walmart worth dying for?

This day is called 'Black Friday' because the storekeepers of America are hoping to see enough goods go off their shelves today to balance their books and get them 'out of the red'.

I, with many Americans, will not be participating this year. First, I am not near my home so why shop? Second, like many Americans I am not in a shopping mood. With job insecurity looming in the mind I think I am going to save my money this Christmas season.

So the question of the day, Will you spend as much this Christmas season as you did last year?

I wonder is this the day we get to practice eating for tomorrow?

If sports teams have to practice for the big game, don't eaters have to practice???

Of course, some teams have an 'off day' before the big game, so some folks might take the day off before the big day???

Some teams do a 'light scrimmage, without pads' the day before the game. What does a 'light scrimmage' look like to you the day before T-day?

What is your preference???

After waking very early - much earlier than usual - I made it to the airport and through the line to the plane. The flight was fine except for a few bumps along the way. Short overlay in Detroit which allowed for a small salad pick up at Quizno's was ended with a reload to Baltimore. Again nice seat mates made for a quick flight to BMI. The drive from BMI to Falls Church,VA was more stressful than the flight - I don't think will ever be able to live anywhere where there is that much traffic!!

I was very tired when I arrived - and more rested this morning.

I did wake up with a sore throat - think I caught that in all that recirculated air in the plan?

It is a nice sunny day in Virginia...
