The only cd that I have listened to this year has been Kenny G. There is something about his songs that reach deep in my soul and give it peace. Singers such as Barbara S and Celine have the same qualites and as there is little of these I've not heard I rarely listen to the radio any longer. Thank you for the tunes and God Bless. Don (TS)

Great music and thought. How many times I think about God's gifts. And one of the greatest is the love between a man and a woman. Truly a miracle. There is much to be thankful for. Our creation, preservation, and all th blerssings of this life.
We do enjoy many of the same interests - this I believe helps build a healthy relationship.
We are thankful for the gifts of God in our lives. We both practice the daily discipline of gratitude (journalling 5 things for which we are thankful for on each day).

No Ron, I didnt see the tornados in VA but I did hear about all the earthquakes in the Reno, Nevada area. This sure has been a weird year for weather and earth disturbances. Makes you wonder if Revelations is coming to pass, you know?

Ron in some ways I will be glad when God comes to take us all home because I look around and I see the destruction in this world and I wonder when it is ever going to stop. Children rising up to kill one another and hatred and violence everywhere. There is so much greed and disrespect for life all around us.
The world is going at such a fast pace all hopped up on super shots of caffiene that I don't know how the body's central nervous system can even stand it at such a warp speed. Caring and compassion seems to be missing the most from this world we live in. That is why it is so important to me to stay in the light of God's love and to be compassionate and caring.
I was just talking about this very thing yesterday with Lovie and reading her passages from Revelations. The wars, the earthquakes, the diseases...we were discussing the 2012 thing and how many say it could be the end. Although nobody knows the hour or the date, it really does make me even stronger in my faith.
I think that is why is is even more meaningful to me to slow down and enjoy life and smell the roses and take notice of the things around me and see the positive and beauty in it. It lets me see that God's glory is not dead. It allows me to see the wonder and feel his love and his goodness. For seeing so much hate and truly evil acts, I turn away from the darkness and only look towards the light.
Sorry I seemed to have gotten on a roll here, however, it does make me all the more aware of what's ahead... and what my focus is. I could go on and on but I won't. Just smiling here and thinking.
I believe we could have a very long discussion on the subject, don't you?
