Definitely should, Ron. Plant is not worth the money but Alison Krauss is, especially if she does some of her bluegrass and has Jerry Douglas with her.

I know you will really enjoy it, Ron. Eager to hear your review. Ticket prices are horrible these days. Some friends went to see Cher in Las Vegas - $150 tickets - way up in the nose-bleed section. Needed binoculars to see her. Hope you get to be right down in front.

The concert is booked into the Dodge Theater here in Phoenix. It is a very small venue - actually I am surprised they put her there. I understand it is quite an intimate theater - it was built as a private theater by Jerry Colengelo who used to own the Diamondbacks and the Suns. Some people say it is his private little arts place and the rest of us can come and pay to see his favorite acts.

Sinann,
my interest is piquing with all these for the concert - I will have to check out the schedule - I teach on some tuesdays - I will see if that one is free...
I think the $45 is a doable amount - not the $250 for a ducat - I mean I can buy seasons tickets for 4 or 5 travelling Broadways shows for that amount!
I think I figured out that this is a Tuesday night concert - and I am teaching a new class starting Tuesday night! So I guess I will be going in my dreams!

Awww Ron... maybe you can see them another time as a surprise for June for an anniversary or something. Find out where she is on tour and maybe you can catch her in another nearby city.

PS- ticket prices are so high these days but $45 isn't too terribly bad. Tina Turner tickets were $80 but it was worth it to me. I saw her four times in concert.

Here is the rub - I checked online last night and found out the tickets are

$125 each - so for June and myself that works out to $250 plus $10 to park...
hmmmmm....
ron
I just went online and the tickets are $125 - for two - $250!!!!
I should get wine and cheese with that don't you think - and an autographed copy of the program????
ron
I just checked they do have balconey seats for $45 each
ron
Have a great week!
I don't think anyone is worth that much.. Not even George Carlin.
I found some $45 seats - I may be tempted - Sinann says I should go for it...
Carlin was a good one- he has gone to his rest
ron
June will be home in a few days - I will see if she is up to this - I think she would enjoy Alison too.

I don't think I am going to make this concert - it is on a Tuesday - and on a Tuesday when I start teaching a new class!
So I will be doing a 'miss this one!'
